FOR ALL YOUR GLASS, AWNINGS, SHOWER DOORS, AUTO GLASS (AND WHAT EVER ELSE WE DO) NEEDS!!!
Glassworks opened May 1, 1989 in Decaturville, TN when Bob Crawley moved back to his home in Decatur County, three months after leaving the U.S. Navy, and a brief stay at General Glass in Memphis. At the time Decatur County did not have a full service glass shop that offered mobile service. Bob noticed a need for this type of business in the area, so Glassworks was started.
After a very successful start in Decaturville, we relocated to Parsons, TN in 1991 and after one year, built a new 3,500 sq. ft. building located at 485 Florida Ave., N,, behind Fred's Dollar Store and Ace hardware. This location has given Bob, Debbie and thier staff the facilities they needed to provide quality and reasonably priced service to all their customers.
Bob married Debbie Gatlin from Waverly Tn. in 1994 and she joined Glassworks in 1995 and brought with her 11 years experience as Executive Director of the Humphreys County Chamber of Commerce, and shared that same care for the customer that makes a company grow.
Over the past twenty plus years, Glassworks has enjoyed tremendous growth with the support of Decatur and surrounding counties, and looks forward to serving these customers in the future. Glassworks prides itself in helpling its customers with any questions or projects they have, and giving them the service they deserve.
Glassworks attributes its growth and success to its "quality work for a fair price" motto. Glassworks handles major accounts for local industries, school systems, hospitals, construction companies and many other typesof businesses in the area. We can handle all insurance company claims and we are linked up with insurance company networks. Many contractors in the area use Glassworks for all their mirrors installations, shower enclosures and those custom jobs that only Glassworks can handle. We try to always keep our appointments and if not we let you know why. Our philosophy is "treat the customer as you wish to be treated".
